It approximately take more than hour for do that one crossing, as at a time only two people along with luggage can do the crossing. Spend time admiring the beauty and the power of the nature. It’s a visual treat and an experience in itself to watch the Ganga gush out of the snout of the Gangotri glacier. From here we will have to traverse the gigantic Gangotri glacier to cross over to the other side and climb up to Tapovan. Tapovan is rewarded manifolds as one this is a spectacular bugyal (high altitude meadow) situated at the base of the Shivling peak and is surely one of the top places to visit across Himalayas.
